What are Neighborhood Nuptials?
Engaged and planning a courthouse wedding or elopement in Chicago? Do something more to mark this momentous occasion than a civil ceremony in the beige basement of city hall. With Neighborhood Nuptials, we make it simple to get married with an intimate ceremony celebration that is both approachable and meaningful.
We're popping up for one day only at each of our neighborhood venue partners. Frame your ceremony with the gorgeous backdrop at a venue in your favorite neighborhood. These unique spaces still allow you to express your style while supporting local small businesses.
In addition to your venue, our Neighborhood Nuptials package includes a planner, photographer and DJ with live streaming services. We have also partnered with a curated group of environmentally and socially responsible wedding pros to make your day even more thoughtful and personalized.
How It Works
You’ll be assigned to a Naturally Yours Events planner before your Neighborhood Nuptials to discuss personalized options and needs, create a timeline, and plan out logistics for the day. You’ll also receive NYE Inc.’s online planning tools to keep all the details organized. They will oversee all setup and breakdown of the event, put out your special details, coordinate with partnered vendors, and orchestrate ceremony and onsite activities so all you have to do is get dressed and get hitched!
On the big day, your ceremony will be set in front of the gorgeous backdrop of one of our venue partners of your choosing. You have the ability to bring your own officiant or add on professional officiating services to make your ceremony exactly what you envision. One hour is included in our base package for the ceremony, portrait session, and however else you want to celebrate. Invite those important guests (up to 30 max) and arrive promptly for your scheduled event to settle into the provided seats, do mic checks, and deep breaths before going down the aisle!
Our DJ partner, Cage and Aquarium, will not only orchestrate your individually chosen processional and recessional music, microphones, and other audio needs- they will also provide their “Be There” service to live stream your ceremony and activities to up to 500 friends and family members. This service provides professional audio and video with the option for you and guests to interact in ways not possible with other streaming services.
The investment for your Neighborhood Nuptials is $2,850 and includes:
Online planning tool + one (1) planning meeting before celebration
Venue access at a neighborhood venue partner for one (1) hour
Assigned photographer during that one (1) hour for ceremony and portraits at the venue
A gorgeous venue backdrop, chairs for guests (up to 30 max), and small table for ceremony items
Personalized ceremony music and microphones provided by assigned DJ
Professional live streaming of your ceremony powered by “Be There”
Planner to orchestrate ceremony and specific onsite venue activities
